You are now 2 months pregnant. The baby has grown little more and soon you
will start getting hints of the same. If you are expecting that you will get
kicks at this stage then wait; there is still time. Here are some things for
your second month pregnancy.
1. Gentle
exercise
Now your baby is growing and slowly you
too will grow with your baby. In order to ensure that you have a healthy body
all throughout the pregnancy it is advisable to do some gentle exercises. You
can start with some basic pelvic floor exercise neck rotation, slow dancing,
swimming and such. It is good to keep your blood circulated. Before doing any
exercise we advice you to talk to your midwife in order to avoid any
complications.
2. Common
Symptoms
In the second month of pregnancy you
will have some common symptoms like morning sickness, soreness or prickly
breasts and some of the others. Do not worry these are very normal. However, if
these symptoms are very high then you can inform your mid wife and she will
give you medications accordingly. Also, if you are facing such issues you can
inform the people in your office so your work schedule can be changed
accordingly. Yes, it is the right time to announce your pregnancy.
3. Regular
supplements and Tests
You should not forget your regular
supplements and yes, this month will also have some important urine tests and
ultrasound tests as well. Based on your condition your midwife can decide to
have such tests in the next month as well; so do not panic if they are not
scheduled yet.
4. Urge
to eat more
All of a sudden you will feel that you
are one big eater and do not be embarrassed by that. Be happy and go ahead and
fill your stomach; your baby needs nutrients. However, always ensure that you
eat on healthy foods; keep fruits and juices handy so you can avoid munching
unhealthy snacks.
5. Stretch
Marks
Some of the moms-to-be start getting
stretch marks as early as 2nd month and very few are lucky not to
have them till the 9th month (I am one of them). In order to get
minimum stretch marks you can start applying bio oil, good moisturizer and eat
lots of citrus food and of course keep yourself hydrated.
In order to ensure that you have a
smooth and happy pregnancy you can start looking for a baby club and yes to
start with the excitement you can start finding good baby names as well. Enjoy
