You are now into the third trimester. By this time
your baby weighs around 2.5 pounds and can blink his eyes as well. The wrinkled
skin will now start turning smooth and yes your baby will start developing hair
on his body in this trimester. Here are
some of the things you should know when you are 7 months pregnant.
1. Plan
a babymoon
This is the ideal month where you should
plan your babymoon where you can get time with your partner. Your babymoon
should be at a place which is easy to travel and of course relaxing. Check out
famous babymoon destinations near your location
2. Signs
of pre term labour
In the seventh month you need to keep a
watch on some signs of labour as well. You need to rest as we do not want a pre
term labour. At this time you need to consume more of magnesium which helps
you to absorb calcium thus relaxing your muscles and cramps. All of these
things will help you to stay away from pre term labour.
3. Check
on your blood pressure
It is observed that about 75% of the
women experience increase in blood pressure at this month which leads into
complications to both baby and the mother. Hence it is advised that you keep a
watch on your blood pressure. In order to control the same you can practise
some pregnancy yoga and relaxing sessions.
4. Hot
flashes
Irrespective of the climate; there is a
probability that you will experience hot flashes in your body. Throughout
pregnancy there is extra blood supply in your body thus releasing burning
sensation and causing excessive hotness or warmness in your body. Yes it is
very normal and hence you should try to be in cooler room.
5. Check
on your bleeding
If you experience bleeding at this month
then it is sign of worry and you should immediately consult a doctor. You may
experience lower abdominal pain which is normal if occurring at intervals. However,
excessive bleeding is a sign of low placenta or rupture of uterus which is not
good at this point of time. Hence rush to the doctor if something of this sort
takes place.
You can also have your baby shower
in this month as in the coming months you will be more busy making preparations
for your baby and you of course do not want the last months to be hectic. So go
ahead and plan the celebration.
